ATTENTION

Any
minor children attending practice or races MUST be accompanied by an
adult or legal Guardian. Minor children who arrive without a
parent or legal guardian will be turned away.

The track hours will be extended until 6:00 pm on Saturday.
A free BBQ and entertainment will be hosted by Crossroads Church from
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Introduction:

Ridgecrest Motorsports
(RMS) is a volunteer group, comprised mainly of parents, that share a
common interest and love for the sport of Motocross. This family oriented
group came together for the purpose of creating Motocross riding
opportunities in the Indian Wells
Valley, specifically in the Town
of Ridgecrest.
RMS is a not for profit organization. They exist for the purpose of
helping construct a Motocross facility.

Vision:
|
|
The vision of Ridgecrest
Motorsports is to create a family oriented facility that caters to all ages
of enthusiasts, at all skill levels and to facilitate educational
opportunities for younger riders.
|
|
|
|
Progress:
|
|
Through a collaborative
effort with the City of Ridgecrest
and the Desert Empire Fair, a 25 acre parcel, that is City owned (formerly
the Miniature Golf Course) was leased to the Desert Empire Fair for the
purpose of creating a Multiple Use Facility. Per the terms of the
agreement, the facility will be used primarily for Radio Controlled Car
racing and Motocross Practicing and Racing.
There are three motocross
tracks at the complex. A 50cc track that has been conveniently placed
closer to restroom and concession facilities, a 65-80cc track and an
unlimited track for all other riders.
RMS is closely associated
with the City of Ridgecrest
and the Desert Empire Fair. RMS agreed to help build the Motocross tracks
and do facility improvements to the existing infrastructure, until the
track is up and running well.
